RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION
A Certificate of Registration issued to a registered geologist and registered practitioner shall expire on 31 December of the year in which it is issued. The certificate may be renewed annually upon payment of the renewal fee as prescribed in the Second Schedule of the Geologists (Registration of Geologists) Regulations 2015.
The Board may refuse to renew the registration if the registered geologist or practitioner fails to satisfy any conditions determined by the Board. An application for renewal must be submitted to the Board before 31 January of any given year and must include:
- The application form, Form F.
- Proof of payment for the renewal fee.
- CPD (Continuing Professional Development) record.
- Any other information as required by the Board.
Failure to renew registration before 1 February shall result in the removal of the registered person's name from the Register, as specified under Section 34(b) of the Geologist Act 2008 [Act 689].
