Existing Geologist Member User Manual
This manual explains how existing members can manage their profile, annual CPD records, renewals, payments, receipts and certificates in eGEOReg.
1. Sign in and check your profile
Make sure the displayed registration number and name match your records. If your profile is not linked, contact the Secretariat before submitting an existing-member form.
Open My Profile and check your email, phone number and address. Keep your email accessible because system notifications are sent there.
2. Record CPD for renewal
For a 2027 renewal, CPD earned during 2026 must be recorded under Record Year 2026. The record year is when the activity took place, not the renewal year.
Choose the most suitable category and activity type. Enter the title, organiser, date and number of activities. The system calculates points based on the selected activity.
Select Save to List for each activity. Check the year, date, points and details before submitting.
You can upload PDF evidence to the relevant record. Check the file name before submitting. If no file is attached, the Secretariat may ask for evidence or further information.
Select Submit All Records when your list is complete. Draft records are not sent for review until you do this. Track statuses such as Pending Review, Verified, Query or Rejected.
Claimed points are not necessarily verified points. Check the verified total and remaining target in the CPD summary.
3. Submit an application
Open New Application and select the relevant application type. Read the form name and instructions before starting.
Complete all required fields and upload the documents listed on the form. The PDF auto-fill feature may help with Form A; review and correct every field after it fills the form.
Save as Draft if the application is incomplete. When all information and documents are ready, select Submit Application and keep the reference number.
Complete the previous year’s CPD records first. The system uses verified CPD records to review a renewal. Then submit Form F and the related documents.
CPD is not a general prerequisite for every application. Follow the document list and instructions shown for the selected form.
4. Payments and receipts
After submitting your application, open Payments & Receipts to view the fee created for it. The amount and fee type depend on the form and processing stage.
Pay using the official account details shown. Upload payment proof, select the payment method, and enter the transaction date and reference number if requested.
Pending Review means the payment proof has not yet been verified. An official receipt is generated after payment is verified. Check your registered email and Spam/Junk folder if you do not see the receipt notice.
Open or download the receipt using the link in the payment record. Contact the Secretariat if the amount, date or receipt number is incorrect.
5. Check status and certificates
Open My Applications and select a reference number to view its status, notes, documents, payment and follow-up actions.
If the status is Query or Incomplete, read the Secretariat’s note, update the requested information and submit it again.
A certificate is available after approval and completion of the applicable requirements. For renewals, the certificate may be held until the required CPD points are met.
6. Help and safe practices
Make sure documents are readable, undamaged and uploaded to the correct field. Check the file name after uploading.
Check My Applications first. If an error occurs after you select Submit, confirm whether a reference number was created.
Include your name, registration number if available, reference number and a screenshot of the error. Never include your password or TAC.
